A former design lecturer, raised on a dairy farm, I was always a keen foodie, but forever dissatisfied with available plant milk offerings so started to make my own a few years ago. Almost by chance I realised that my homemade 'milk' was more useful as a paste which was ultimately easier to store in the fridge and more versatile to use in the kitchen. Fast forward to 2022 and we're about to launch our almond and cashew pastes into Sainsburys as part of their Future Brands scheme and hoping to disrupt the chilled alt milk category.
